The Low pressure system has started to track away from Fiji, which we are great full for. In it’s wake we have been left with 3 miserable days of rainy weather. This has caused us a few issues, mostly to do with power.
Everything runs off solar panels, when there is no sun, there is simply no power. Our water pumps suck power, flushing the toilet drains the batteries, playing music needs power and charging the computer needs full midday sun. This has left us feeling pretty bored.

Now having no music has been the real killer, I love music, I can’t go with out it. So I turned my attention to my dusty old ukelele. being couped up inside gave me no choice but to learn how to play. You may now official call me the ukelele destroyer. I have three songs which I can play reasonably well. I would play and the girls would sing and dance. Entertaining the 3 of us for hours on end.
When my fingers were shredded and my dancers exhausted, we tackled that mega pile of dishes. I much rather play with my girls then do dishes, but now they are well trained and they help do the dishes, whilst throwing bubbles everywhere, making the whole chore so much more enjoyable.

On the plus side all this rain has allowed us an endless supply of showers. When we get really bored, we go and splash about in the cockpit with plenty of bubble bath. The girls love water and filling the cockpit with bubbles , will keep them squealling with happiness all day. Hopefully by Sunday we will be able to head back out to the sea and keep on cruising.

Lovin that Uke playin Lahn. Keep practising and you can jam with me and Harpers xylophone .haha
Lucky you have an acoustic Uke and not an electric one heh!
Lovely……Regards
